The Friends of the Battle Ground Community Library is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization under the umbrella of the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation. All donations to the Battle Ground Friends are tax deductible to the full extent of state and federal laws.
The Friends Board consists of four elected officers and three other elected members. Battle Ground's librarian is an ex-officio member. They meet in the library's Meyer Community Room on a Saturday morning of the week after the general meeting, first Tuesday of the month.
Current board members are:President Anna Cross, Vice-President Louise Tucker,Secretary Sara Striker, Treasurer (and Webmaster) Donna Dill, and Board Members Linda Clemmer, Christine Grier (and Facebook guru) and Jan Shaul. To contact the board, e-mail to: friends@bgcfriends.com.
The Battle Ground Community Library is located at 1207 NE 8th Way.
Directions: The library is located in the SE part of the city in a new development called Battle Ground Village. From East Main Street, turn south on SE Grace Avenue, turn east on SE Rasmussen Blvd., then right onto SE 8th way which curves to the south and east. The front doors of the library are on SE 8th Way. Additonal parking and a back entrance are behind the library.
