ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Some examples of support the Friends provide by raising money and volunteering:
Book Store:
- Book cases and book ends
- Book donation bin
- Notification to customers we have a book for them
- "Ben's Books" sign
Children's area:
- Five computers in Children's area;
- Child sized double computer table
- One AWE station
- Furniture
Technology Area:
- Nine computers
- One single station computer table
Living Room:
- "Comfy" stuffed chairs and sofas
- Reading lamps with outlets for computers
Pat Redjou Literacy Area:
- Fund the training for new group leaders
- Provide teaching supplies and materials for students and group leaders
- Storage unit for literacy materials
- Table and chairs
Library Programs: 
- Support for the summer reading program
- Library programs for children and teens
- Books for teen book discussion group
- Movie license so library can show movies
- Special events
Miscellaneous:
- Defibrillator medical equipment
- Locks for the employee's personal lockers
- Donor wall plaques
- Quilt racks and sign holders for quilt display
- Sliding panels to close off kitchen area when not in use.
In addition individual Friends members have donated funds for specific areas such as:
- A study room
- The Literacy Area
- Books for the children's area, etc.
Gifts have also been given in memory or in honor of former members.
